Pratt Institute School of Information Records
During Dr. Anthony Cocciolo's course LIS 625: Management of Archives & Special Collections (Spring 2017), I co-led the Finding Aid Team in a processing project of Pratt Institute’s School of Information Records. The project involved composing a processing plan, appraisal, arrangement, description, and enhancing a DACS/EAD compliant Finding Aid in AtoM.
Eleven boxes from the Pratt School of Information Records were inventoried, mapped, and physically integrated into the pre-existing Pratt AtoM Finding Aid and archival boxes. Archival materials ranged from 1969-2000 and contained largely printed material totaling 11 linear feet. Following the physical re-housing of archival materials, I collaborated with the Finding Aid Team to make necessary revisions and additions to the finding aid in AtoM. In AtoM new physical storage boxes SI-010 through SI-018 were added, and sub-series F01-S1.1b, F02-S2.13a-c, F02-2.16, F05-5.12, and F08-S8.3 were revised.
